Adriana Mata Puente She holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (unam). She is recognized as a full-time professor with a “Desirable Profile.” She is a member of the National System of Researchers, 2022. Since 2005, she has been a research professor in the School of Information Sciences at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (uaslp). Her research focuses on reading and public and school libraries, both in the present and in the past. She has helped coordinate three books (2019, 2021, 2022); she is the co-author of one book (2024), has published eight articles in specialized journals, and 15 book chapters. She has also presented her research findings at more than 40 national and international conferences. In the area of academic training, she has advised six master’s and bachelor’s theses and has taught courses at the master’s and bachelor’s levels.
