Juan Alberto Salazar Rebolledo He is PhD Researcher at the International Graduate School "Temporalities of the Future" of the Lateinamerika Institut of the Free University of Berlin. He holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in History from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (unam). He specializes in the cultural and social history of Latin America, with special attention to the contemporary period. He has participated in academic events in Mexico, Cuba, Germany, Portugal, Peru and the United States. He has published articles in the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Latin American History of the University of Oxford and in the journals Sequence, Cuban Studies, The Latin Americanist, Visual Discourse and Babel.
