Rosa Maria Osorio She is a professor-researcher at the ciesas-Mexico City. Physical anthropologist, master in Social Anthropology and later in Anthropology of Medicine and PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology. She teaches at the Graduate School of Anthropology at the ciesas-cdmx and in various national and international institutions. He is currently coordinating the Permanent Seminar on Medical Anthropology at the ciesas. Her lines of research include maternal medical culture and self-care structure, care trajectories, chronicity processes, health services and public policies. Her publications include Entender y atender la enfermedad. Maternal knowledge in the face of infantile ailments, Medical Anthropology in Mexico. and the Bibliography of social health research in Mexico (1918-2018).
