Veronica Giménez Béliveau She has a PhD in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (co-supervised thesis, 2004). She works as an independent researcher for CONICET at CEIL. His research areas revolve around the social and religious dynamics of Catholicism, the characteristics of beliefs in contemporary times, the articulation between religion and health, and the forms of constitution of identities and mobilities of religious groups. He directs the CLACSO Group “Religion, neoliberalism and postcoloniality”. She is a professor at the Society and Religion research seminar at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, and has been distinguished as a visiting professor at EHESS (2013, 2018, 2019), Columbia University (2008), Institut des Hautes Études sur l'Amérique Latine (2010), Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (2016). He has written numerous articles in national and international specialized magazines, and books Militant Catholics.
