Tomás Calvillo studied International Relations at El Colegio de Mexico and a Master's degree in History from the uia. D. in Social Sciences from the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social Occidente. Professor and researcher at El Colegio de San Luis. Founder of El Zaguán. He has been a member of the editorial board of Ixtus, as well as founder and president of El Colegio de San Luis. Fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies, University of San Diego, California. He was ambassador of Mexico to the Philippines from 2006 to 2012.
