Maria de Lourdes Beldi de Alcântara Doctor in Anthropology at the University of Sao Paulo, with the thesis “A censura da Igreja Católica a Produção Cinematografica”. She is a professor and coordinator in Medical Anthropology at the University of São Paulo, Faculdade de Medicina-FMUSP. Central themes of his research: health, religion, indigenous population and human and indigenous rights.
