Doctoral candidate in Anthropological Studies at El Colegio de San Luis, Mexico (2018-ongoing). Master's degree and Specialist in Indian Art at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Seiji Shinohara's photographs seem to question this image and turn it upside down, because his gaze is not that Hiroshima, but that place that does not coincide with our imagination, lined with large gates, with Buddhist offerings among the alleys, architectural details of Shinto shrines, cobblestone roads, cherry trees reflected in the rivers and daily announcements that insinuate inhabited streets, vivid... leaving out of the frame any silhouette or individual.

To speak in Encartes of our guest, Dr. Tomás Calvillo, is to allude to one of the great specialists on the Philippine Islands, where he was ambassador from 2006 to 2012. Historian, political scientist, essayist, narrator, painter, Dr. Calvillo was a founder of El Colegio de San Luis, where he is currently a research professor.

Whe present essay seeks to show, through a singularity of images, how myths, in one of their many expressive ramifications, materialize in a narrative way in what we call plastic expressions of the good errant. Its minimal units operate with signifiers built on a multiplicity of objects that refer the errant to meanings linked to those beings of the universal endeavor. To demonstrate our plastic hypothesis, we will exemplify the mythological complex related to Śiva, one of the most outstanding deities of the Indian cosmogony, referring to various manifestations and presences of this god in the colorful streets of India.
