Antonio Rivera García is Professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts in the Department of Philosophy and Society at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he is currently its director. He is also co-director since 2010 of Res Publica. Journal of the History of Political Ideas. He is currently a director of Grupo ucm de investigación “Estética contemporánea: arte, política y sociedad”. Sus investigaciones se han centrado en la historia de las ideas y conceptos políticos y en la estética contemporánea, con particular atención a la teoría de la imagen.
