Miguel Lisbona Guillén He is a Senior Researcher "C" at the Center for Multidisciplinary Research on Chiapas and the Southern Border (CIMSUR), at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Master and PhD in Anthropological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa. Member of the National System of Researchers since 1998 (currently level 3). He has published more than 90 articles and book chapters, and is the author, co-author and coordinator of 13 books. The most recent one of authorship: Wherever the waves of the sea arrive… Past and present of the Chinese in Chiapas (2014), and coordinated with Patricia de los Santos Chandomí the one entitled Clamar en el tierra verde. Women in the Contemporary History of Southeastern Mexico (2017).
