José Joel Lara González D. and Master in Anthropology from the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (CIESAS); ethnohistorian from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (ENAH). His research interests are ethnohistory and ethnicity processes, semiotic anthropology, body languages, ritual processes in ethnic groups, particularly in the Huasteca. Scriptwriter and director of Etnofonías: agua y ritualidad entre nahuas de la Huasteca and among his publications stand out the phonograms 76, 72 and 60 of the Fonoteca del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) on the documentation of musical and dance knowledge in the Huasteca. She is currently developing a postdoctoral research project at the ENAH on dreams as epistemological and ontological systems in the Huasteca.
