Ramiro Godina Valerio He has a degree in Music and Instrumentalist (guitarist) and a Master in Arts from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. His research focuses on mariachi and norteño music, of the latter he has delved into the bajo sexto. He has participated in academic events locally, nationally and internationally, of which the Colloquium Musical Cultures of Monterrey and Nuevo León (2014); International Colloquia on Mariachi, in Jalisco, Mexico (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2017, 2018, 2019) stand out, kismif International Conference (2018), in Oporto, Portugal and the 22nd Symposium of ictm (2019), in Lisbon, Portugal. His writings have been published under such imprints as the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, the University of Zacatecas, the Colegio de Jalisco and the University of Oporto. He currently teaches at the School of Music of the University of Mexico. uanl.
