Santiago Canevaro He is a member of the research career of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina (CONICET), with the rank of adjunct. He has a doctorate in Social Sciences, a master's degree in Social Anthropology and a Sociologist from the University of Buenos Aires and a professor at the Institute of High Social Studies at the National University of San Martín and the Postgraduate Program in Social and Political Anthropology at FLACSO Argentina. His area of work includes topics related to social class, middle sectors, popular cultures, migrations, the labor market, domestic service, inequality and affections. He is the author of the book Invisible presences. Performance, identity and migration (2012) and compiler with Ana Abramowsky of the book Thinking the affections. Approaches from Social Sciences and Humanities (2017).
