Alma Luz Beltrán and Puga Law degree from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). Master of Laws from Columbia University, New York, as a Fulbright Scholar and Human Rights Fellow. Currently, she is a candidate for a Doctor of Law at the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and a professor at the Faculty of Jurisprudence at the Universidad del Rosario (Colombia). Previously, she was Legal Coordinator of the Information Group on Elected Reproduction (GIRE) for four years, a civil organization dedicated to the defense of the reproductive rights of women and a professor in the Department of Law of ITAM in Mexico. He has also worked in international organizations such as the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mexico.
