It delves into the way in which the concept of hegemonic masculinity has changed, both temporally and geographically, throughout history from the 1980s to now.<\/p>\n<p>  The author makes a comparison between the way in which masculinities are constructed in different geographical contexts and invites us to reflect on this concept not as an idea but as a process, as part of a continuous and moldable change.
